Ohio
Partners in Character Education
is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Better
Business Bureau Education Foundation dedicated to promoting and
facilitating the development and implementation of character education
programs in Ohio schools and communities.
Originally
formed as the result of a Character Education Pilot Projects grant
to the Ohio Department of Education (ODE), OPCE continues
to work in partnership with ODE to provide character education resources
and technical assistance to Ohio schools and communities through
professional development workshops, this website, advocacy, a statewide
character network, collaboration with other projects and agencies, and
programs such as the Statewide Laws of
Life Essay Contest and the Ohio Schools of Character
Awards.

to provide technical assistance to local
agencies in the development and implementation of curriculum materials,
