Ohio School of Character Centerville Primary to Offer Workshop in February

Centerville Primary Village North, a 2014 National School of Character, will offer a free workshop on character education on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Registration and refreshments will begin at 4:15 and the program will start at 5:00, wrapping up by 7:15. The workshop will include a keynote by Jim Place, "The Importance of Character Education in Schools," and 2 breakout sessions on a variety of topics pertaining to developing character education programs for school improvement. The workshop is free, but you must be registered to attend and attendance will be limited.

Centerville Primary Village North School named National School of Character

Centerville Primary Village North School, the 2014 Ohio School of Character, was named a 2014 National School of Character by the Character Education Partnership in Washington DC.  The School of Character Program recognizes schools that demonstrate excellence in character education as measured by the Charater Education Partnership's Eleven Principles. The Ohio award is sponsored by OPCE, the Ohio Better Business Bureaus and the Character Council of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
